Star Wreck: Asskicker (orig. Finn: Star Wreck Monottoja; literally Star Wreck: Monotoner) is non-canon fan spin-off of the Star Wreck series created by Toni Hirvikorpi of Sci-Fi Vortex/ Lammastarha/ Hera MonoTooni. It consists of three episodes, with episodes 1½ and 2 each being divided into two sub-episodes.

Synopsis[edit | edit source]

The series follows the misadventures of the CPP Asskicker, a P-Fleet prototype starship, and its crew, as it battles Plingon, Romuclan, and even an Unnamed Alien Race.

Episode 1[edit | edit source]

Called 'Väärä Kurssi' ('Wrong Course'), the episode originally aired in 2001.

Licard assumes command of the P-Fleet prototype CPP Asskicker. As expected, the crew is largely incompetent and the helmsman accidentally takes the ship into Plingon space, where it is attacked by a border patrol. The Asskicker fights for its survival until two more P-Fleet ships come to its rescue.

This episode was remade with improved graphics in 2007, dubbed the 'Not-So-Special Edition'.

Differences between the original and the 2007 version[edit | edit source]

  • The scene where Licard's space sled arrives to the Asskicker's hangar is slightly different, with the bad landing being exaggerated.
  • The subtitles have been revised for consistency.
  • In the English subtitles Mr. Glove is referred to by his Finnish name - 'Tumppu' - on at least one occasion.
  • The CPP WasteMill was renamed to CPP Waste Grinder in the translation.
  • Captain Dick was renamed to Captain Schlong.
  • The Asskicker's damage, as reported by File, is far worse.
  • The British crewmember has been changed to a Briton for unclear reasons.

Episode 1½[edit | edit source]

Called 'Paskalasti' ('ShitLoad').

The CPP Asskicker is assigned to haul garbage freighters between different space stations. After a conflict with a local Admiral, Licard decides to dump one of the freighters across the border, into Romuclan territory. This does not go unnoticed and, once the Asskicker attempts to dump the second freighter, it is attacked by a Romuclan patrol ship. A fight ensues in which the Asskicker is badly damaged but survives whereas the opponent ship is destroyed.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The end credits feature an omelette recipe.

Episode 2[edit | edit source]

Called 'Pileähkö Uhka' ('Dark Menace').

P-Fleet learns of a secret construction project by the Plingons. The CPP Asskicker is assigned to investigate. What its crew discovers is both unexpected and potentially very dangerous. Will the Asskicker be able to thwart the Plingon plan?
