Star Wreck 4½: Weak Performance is an episode of the Star Wreck series. Chronologically it takes place after episode IV, but it was actually shot and released after episode V. The canonicity of this episode is disputed.
Star Trek meets Indiana Jones in a little-bit-less classic episode of Star Wreck made in the year 2000.
Star Wreck 4½ - Weak Performance was an inside joke for the team, made after Star Wreck 5. Though most of it is re-used footage from Andy Bones II, made years earlier...
Confused? So is the plot, where Captain Pirk plays Nazi-hating archaeologist Andy Bones on the Halludeck while Romuclans attack The Kickstart.
After the events of the Zarquon contest, Pirk got demoted to Captain rank. The Kickstart's main computer got outfitted with a demo OS version, and must now travel to Earth to get a crack. The trip is long and boring, and Pirk finds out that he can actually take some time off. He decides to go to the ship's Halludeck to play an Andy Bones adventure-simulation. What was supposed to be entertaining time off turns into a nightmare when an unexpected Romuclan attack damages the Halludeck, turning the simulation's enemies immortal and highly dangerous.

- The canonicity of this episode is disputed. The end-credits claim that it is canon, but at the same time, they also claim that it's "nothing more than a big joke" and that it "does not represent the future of the Star Wreck series in any way". Likewise, the official youtube channel commented that it's "kinda "unofficial" Star Wreck", further confusing things. Nevertheless, Samuli Torssonen and Antti Satama reprised their role as Pirk and Info accordingly, making it semi-canon.
- This film is an Atte Joutsen production, making it probably the first Star Wreck film not to be made mainly by Samuli Torssonen.
- According to the end-credits, the fart sounds were authentic.
- According to an anonymous commenter, "this movie was made because the team wanted to test some effects before they began to make Star Wreck: In the Pirkinning."
- The Halludeck simulation's scenes were recycled from Andy Bones II, another parody series created by Samuli Torsonnen. It is unknown if Andy Bones II was actually ever publicly released.
- Pauli Kukkoholi, who played the Monster in the simulation, is apparently Samuli's cousin.
